Description and Backstory-in-Brief

Born into the small, secluded, and largely unknown Sith House Othrâ of Ashas Ree, Dzûshqân has lived a privileged but sheltered life steeped in Sith culture and traditions, often harkening back to times long past. Strongly force sensitive as most Sith Purebloods are, Dzûshqân was being taught the ways of the Dark Side of the Force from the moment her lips formed her first word.

House Othrâ follows no formal training regimen for their young. Those who show greater promise and skill early on receive more attention than those who struggle. Dzûshqân showed great promise while still a child and by the time she was receiving instruction at the local Sith Academy on Ashas Ree in her teens, had become adept in many of Othrâ’s dark rituals. By then, Dzûshqân was among those of her house who received attention from the greater House Kraag to whom Othrâ was a vassal and cadet branch, and had begun participating in the group rituals for which the two houses are known by the locals on Ashas Ree.

As she reached her late teens, Dzûshqân had become adept in her house’s arts of dreaming and vision rituals, as well as illusion and horror. As her dreams became sought after by members of her house and even by some of their suzerain, Dzûshqân’s status within her house has grown rapidly and she is seen by many as one of the up-and-coming leaders of House Othrâ. A few, eager for new leadership in the house, have been so bold as to whisper the possibility of the young sorceress being the next matriarch. Such hopes are kept quiet, however, for fear of Othrâ’s current matriarch and her plans to put one of her direct kin in such a place upon her death which cannot be so far into the future given her age and growing frailty.

Dzûshqân has never openly indicated a desire for such a role and the power struggle that would ensue. But she had previously made clear her intention to be one of the leading members of the house nonetheless. And she enjoys the support of her direct kin and several others within both Othrâ and its suzerain.

Recently, however, Dzûshqân has strayed from their ancestral home in the protective mountains and forests of Ashas Ree and traveled across the Sith Empire - an unusual action for those of her small clan as they rarely leave their homeland. A brief trip to the Quelii Sector to observe the warfare being conducted in that area of space was followed with a trip to the empire's capital, Dromund Kaas. She has thus far remained there, seemingly touring the capital and the surrounding jungles.

Since her arrival on Dromund Kaas, Dzûshqân has attempted to advise a darth on his performance of a Sith ritual and then another darth on their views of military strategy. Neither move was all that successful but it has indicated the possibility that the sorceress seeks to gain powerful supporters or perhaps build her own network of power. The effects of these early attempts have yet to take hold but there can be little doubt that they shall trigger reactions amongst her supporters, detractors, and political rivals within her house. Dzûshqân, however, claims to be only following a dream . . .
